An event every day that begins at 3:00 pm, repeating until July 10, 2020

A layered evening of highly physical dance crafted and performed by veteran Seattle makers and movers. The evening will showcase a duet by Nicole and Emma with nuance, rigor and beauty and a trio by Kimberly with sweaters, humor, and connection. The performers may leave sore, but we hope you will leave smiling. An evening of dance with Kimberly Holloway, Nicole Lobuzzetta, Emma Klein.

Together, I – Nicole Lobuzzetta and Emma Klein

Shortly after the life-altering experience of becoming mothers, Emma and Nicole embarked on a multi year-long research project to explore a new found connection to their bodies, space and time.
As they explored questions about how they had changed as artists and human beings, they kept coming back to one searing idea: How does one move forward from a seismic shift in identity?  This led to an investigation of the archetypal mother and how extremely personal yet universal the experience of birthing, nurturing and letting go can be.  This dance is about confronting change and the beautiful spaces between suffering and joy.

Joy Conundrum a.k.a A Walk with Mister Rogers – Kimberly Holloway

Joy Conundrum a.k.a. A Walk with Mister Rogers, is a piece inspired by Mister Roger’s understanding that both children and adults have complex emotions that they need to learn about and express. This piece explores child-likeness, fun, and a bit of melodrama cloaked in sweaters.
