PRESS RELEASE
(verbatim)
Artist Trust Presents Free Grant Writing Workshops
for Artists Working in All Disciplines

Artist Trust’s Monica Miller will present information on how to apply for grants successfully. The workshop will give tips on preparing a strong grant application, including “dos and don’ts” for work samples, artist résumés, project proposals, and more. Artist Trust’s Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) application will be used as an example and guide. The workshop will also share insider’s knowledge about panel and selection processes. Along with receiving detailed information on how to prepare all grant-application materials, participants will learn how to access the vast array of grant possibilities available to Washington State artists.

All workshops are free; however, a $5 donation is suggested. Pre-registration is required. To register please contact nirmala@artisttrust.org; 206/467-8734 x20; 866/218-7878 x20 (toll free). More information and updates at www.artisttrust.org/events/artist_workshops.
