Artists at the Center: Heidi Grace Acuña

Living Waling Waling! is an interdisciplinary fashion show that brings together the life force energy of 20+ QTPOC artists in a free, all-ages celebration! Watch as models and dancers transform into Heidi Grace Acuña’s orchid vision – each garment crafted with upcycled materials, hand-painted details, and Filipino textiles, drawing inspiration from Filipino folklore, her Concha and Acuña family stories, and of course the one-and-only waling-waling orchid!

Join us for an afternoon of fashion, dance, music, and community. Arrive early to soak in the atmosphere, enjoy some delicious Filipino flavors by local experimental bakery Leftover Egg, shop exclusive merch, and catch our pre-show performances!

This HGA production is a heartfelt tribute to the waling-waling orchid, her unique beauty, and its symbol of growth and aspiration, in a time that needs a reminder of the goodness we are able to be and create in this world.
