Aubra and Evelyn: Current Bodies
Current Bodies is a dance installation that melds visual art, poetry, and contemporary dance. The performance begins as an interactive installation: suspended fabrics featuring original paintings and poetry inspired by water create a layered landscape that audience members are encouraged to explore before the dancing begins. As the performance unfolds, these fabrics transform into a dynamic, ever-changing set for the dancers to move through. The choreography reflects water as both an intimate human metaphor and a powerful geologic force–shaping landscapes, carrying stories, and connecting lives across time.
