Equipoise Dance presents Threads of Being, a debut performance directed by Heather Smith and Samantha Weissbach that invites audiences to explore the transformative power of connection, self-reflection, and the healing aspects of mirroring. Featuring three dynamic works—Sea Glass, Hi I’m, and L’appel du Vide, the choreographic debut of company member Melissa Koh Krienke—this program draws deeply from the life stories and experiences of our dancers. The Season 1 company dancers include Alexandra Sipe, Anneka Parr, Bethany Lynch, Madison Walker-Mebus, and Melissa Koh Krienke, with choreographic contributions from Emma Neilson and Staria Belle.
