Kaleidoscope is the longest-running modern dance company in Seattle, founded in 1981 by Anne Green Gilbert. The company was directed by Anna Mansbridge from 2014-2023 and is currently directed by Bronwen Gilbert Houck, an alum of the company and daughter of the founder. Kaleidoscope has supported more than 250 young dancers and collaborated with hundreds of professional choreographers over its 44 years history, as well as entertaining audiences across the US and worldwide. Kaleidoscope is based at the Creative Dance Center located in the historic Haller Lake Community Club in North Seattle.
