About CO-NDUIT
CO- is a dance production engine that will be using SENSORIUM for their CO-NDUIT
co-production model. Through CO-NDUIT, CO- will present the work of four Seattle movement
artists. CO-NDUIT is a collaborative performance platform that grants production support to
CO- alumni who are craving to self-produce. Artists receive a week-long residency at Base
Camp Studios 2 and production support for two performances.

About SENSORIUM
SENSORIUM is an immersive installation at Base Camp Studios 2. Seven visual artists will
construct an “eclectic mansion” of rooms, each with a distinct aesthetic voice, from minimalist
to maximal. Using sculpture, murals, textiles, found objects, video projection, and lighting, the
installation will create layered, sensorial spaces that visitors can walk through and inhabit. The
experience of each room will act to mirror our nervous systems in the face of constant
overstimulation from technology. SENSORIUM was collectively curated by Esther Loopstra and
Alaina Stocker, with input from Alana O’Farrell Rogers.

Visual artists include: Loopstra, Stocker, Nadia Ahmed, Maayan Haim, Nahom Ghirmay, Marisa
Manso, and Cam Smith.

A central feature of this installation is collaboration. Outside of daytime gallery hours,
SENSORIUM will serve as a set for evening performances in a cross-disciplinary series where
dance, drag, and visual art intersect. Alana O’Farrell Rogers has curated a not-to-be-missed
line-up, including her own Alana O. Rogers Dance Company; drag performances from Seattle’s
best: TUSH, Glory Hole, and High F@ggotry; and CO-, the dance production company famous
for blending cutting edge dance with socializing at their Performance + Party events.

Gallery hours when performances are not in session will be posted on a weekly basis.
SENSORIUM will also host a figure drawing session and an artist talk-back during the run of
the show. Stay tuned for more information on these events.
