Something Like The Sun

Join us on Sunday April 27th at 6pm @openflightstudio for an evening of solo works in progress.  Dancers hannah rice and cove barton have been in collaboration since their freshman year at Cornish: living together for several years in various shanty spaces, creating dance duets for 12 Minutes Max and Cafe Racer Sessions (RIP), navigating their 20’s in both near and far geographic proximity.  In Something Like the Sun, they will show their own solo work developed in different places at different times but threaded together through a shared community audience (you!!).  hannah’s solo is a continuation of the work she developed during the Flight Deck Residency in 2024 while cove brings in a new work inspired by their upbringing in wild spaces. They are thrilled to welcome in bicoastal choreographic legend marco farronil eonardo to show their current research as well.  The performers will also be joined by visual artist Sierra Ayers.

Donations will be accepted at the door but no one is turned away for lack of funds. (NOTAFLOF)
