This Is A Drama Comedy

Presented by RicketySticks Dance-Theater under the direction of choreographer Amy J Lambert. This Is A Drama Comedy blends concert dance and theater to explore the intersection of tragedy and comedy. Lambert delves into themes of sacrifice, ritual, loneliness, and community. Equal parts humor and drama are combined to create a meditation on the sacrifice involved in playing the role of the joker. Along with a talented cast of local dancers, this production also features a fiber-art volcano set piece created by scenic designer Amiya Brown and lighting design by Meg Fox.
