Priyadarsini Govind & Ensemble: Yavanika, the Screen of Illusion

yavanikā is a full-length dance production in the Bharatanatyam idiom exploring the relationship of the Self with its source. Featuring pan-Indian poetry, in multiple languages the production echoes the voices of poets from across several centuries. The production imagines music and movement in a unique way, with each of the seven compositions having its own soundscape and movement vocabulary.
