“Contact improvisation is a contemporary dance practice centered on physical connection, mutual trust, and attentive listening through touch. Dancers improvise together by exchanging weight, responding to gravity and momentum, and allowing movement to emerge organically through rolling, leaning, lifting, and falling in continuous dialogue rather than fixed choreography.”
