Flight Deck Residency

The Flight Deck Residency is an annual residency program that awards studio time to Seattle dance artists and culminates in a performance that shares the artists’ works in whatever stage they are currently in.

OFS gives 25 hours of studio space to artists to use how they choose. Depending on when the residency falls during an artists’ creative project, the space can be utilized to research a new idea, meditate and reflect, and/or complete a project. In the Flight Deck performance, each artist will reveal to the public a unique moment in their creative project, what they are grappling with, studying, inspired by, where they are right now.
