SUMMARY:Noveltease Theatre: Much Ado About Nothing
DESCRIPTION:“You and I are too wise to woo peaceably.” \nFor drag king Benny Dick and nightclub femmecee Beatrice\, love is a real drag. Adapted by and co-produced with Jo Jo Stiletto\, Noveltease Theatre’s production of Much Ado About Nothing reimagines the play in the context of queer nightlife in post-Stonewall Seattle in a production filled with witty banter\, disco music\, and pure queer joy\, directed by Verity Germaine and choreographed by Fosse Jack and Flossy Beatrice. \nACCESSIBILITY \n\n\nTheatre Off Jackson is a basement-level theatre that is accessed via stairs. The theatre can be accessed by wheelchairs and other mobility devices via the Maynard Alley entrance. Please contact novelteasetheatre@gmail.com if you need this accommodation. \n\n\nTheatre Off Jackson has a few free-standing armless chairs for patrons who need alternative seating options. Please contact novelteasetheatre@gmail.com if you need this accommodation. \n\n\nTheatre Off Jackson’s restrooms are wheelchair accessible and are all-gender. \n\n\nThis production is not ASL interpreted or open captioned. \n\n\nThe venue is not scent-free. \n\n\nAGE RESTRICTIONS \nNoveltease Theatre productions are suitable for audiences 18+. \nGETTING THERE \n\n\nTheatre Off Jackson is located in the Chinatown-International District. It is easily accessed by several bus lines\, the Seattle Streetcar\, and is three blocks from a Link Light Rail Station. \n\n\nThere is affordable street parking throughout the C-ID\, as well as a handful of paid lots. Please note that on game days at T-Mobile Park and Lumen Field\, parking is more limited than usual. We recommend checking stadium schedules before heading to the theatre. \n\n\nThere are many delicious dinner options throughout the C-ID! We recommend arriving early and dining out in the C-ID before the show. \n\n\nFree and reduced cost access to our programming is supported in part by 4Culture.

SUMMARY:Noveltease Theatre: The Raven and Other Stories
DESCRIPTION:Noveltease Theatre\, Seattle’s premier literary burlesque company\, invites you to an evening of tantalizing haunts and devious delights drawn from the poetry and prose of Edgar Allan Poe. Drawing on classic Poe tales like “The Black Cat\,” “The Cask of Amontillado\,” and “The Tell-Tale Heart\,” among others\, this original story chronicles our Narrator’s dark descent into depravity. After the death of her beloved Eleanora\, the Narrator finds herself visited by a conspiracy of ravens who spur her to relive acts of cruelty\, revenge\, and of course\, murder. Driven to the edge of madness\, the Narrator must confront her worst impulses to be freed from grief and guilt nevermore. \nJesse Belle-Jones directs an ensemble-led adaptation of these classic tales\, conceived and choreographed by Scarlett Folds with a script by Sailor St. Claire. Bringing this Gothic world alive is a design team most nightmarishly talented. Bold costumes by Lady Drew Blood (GUNKED!)\, haunting scenic design by Bella Rivera (ZACH\, GOLD)\, and eerie lighting by Noveltease favorite Angelo Domitri (Hamlet\, The Great Gatsby) will bring Poe’s world to life (and death). \nNoveltease Company members Onyx Asili\, Fosse Jack\, Lulu La Lune\, Ramona Rhapsody\, Carson St. Clair\, and Miss Elaine Yes will star alongside guest artists Keyes\, Whisper de Corvo\, Pinay Grigio\, and Lavender Lascivious.

Claire.
