I’ve been looking forward to this show (Saturday night) ever since I stuck PNB’s very attractive Showcase postcard on my fridge a month or so ago.
Check out what PNB dancers can do “offstage” as choreographers. You never know what you’re going to get, and it’ll likely be uneven, but it’s consistently a good time. The tix are cheap ($10–$20).
I’ll be interviewing a few of the choreographers in the next day or two, but in the meantime, here’s a little slideshow of the choreographers (Kiyon Gaines, Stacy Lowenberg, Barry Kerollis, Stanko Milov, Jonathan Porretta, Sonia Dawkins, and Olivier Wevers) setting their new works on PNB School students.
