I’m so excited about Maillot’s Roméo et Juliette opening this Thursday, that I’m going to the lecture/dress rehearsal on Wednesday. You can go too.

PNB has some nice videos posted on their website.

And they’ve announced casting for Week #2.

And there are some previews posted on their website also.

They took down the old reviews, from the last (and first) time PNB danced this gorgeous ballet, back in February 2008, so I found a few online. Here are the links, in no particular order.

PNB has some of the same deals it had last year, including the “Under 25 Fridays” which gets you 2 tix for $25…if you’re 25 or under…just for 9/25 and 10/2.

And “cheap” second-tier seats are back this year, at least for R&J, $25 . This show is a nice one to see from above, as some of the lighting effects can’t be seen from orchestra level.

See you at the show! I’ll be the one with the box of Kleenex…and I’ll be happy to share.
