Rain City Tappers Residency Showing
August 30, 2025 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Rain City Tappers, a Seattle-based tap dance collective founded in 2024, have their first residency: the University of Washington “body-space-time” program. Come support their mission of collaborative creativity by attending an open rehearsal or informal showing.
During their time at the residency, they have invited additional advanced tap dancers from the community to learn some choreography from an ongoing project, as well as participate in their non-hierarchical approach to co-creation.
Open rehearsal: Friday, August 29th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
Informal showing: Saturday, August 30th, 3:00 pm.
Suggested donation of $20, NOTAFLOF, all proceeds go to reputable organizations supporting Palestinians.
